White and collective art

Three tons of white lego has been dumped outside the National Museum in Oslo for everybody to build their own version of the museum! Artist behind “The Collectivity Project” is Olafur Eliasson, who has been working a lot with space and light. I particularly like his “Weather Project” and his “Room for one colour.”

Another interesting white art project coming up on September 21. is Knit-it, a world-wide knitting-performance by artist Liv Reidun Brakstad. There is an invitation to join!



Beret for Bongo

Still raining, so I made him a beret, actually looking more like a rasta cap! He refused to pose, but I got a quite interesting picture of him anyway, although not that descriptive, so here is a detail:

The rain never seems to stop today, so we stay indoors, working on a warm sweater in icelandic wool for me.
